Dana Gill, MSN, RN, FNP
Dana is a true California native. Born in Southern California, she moved at age six to San Francisco and has lived in the Bay Area ever since. A graduate of UC Berkeley, Dana recently completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland.
While at SMU, Dana traveled to Southeast Asia on a medical mission to deliver care in Myanmar to orphaned children. She also is a member of the UCSF Sports Medicine Team providing care to athletes from around the world at the Bay Area’s largest full and half marathons throughout the year.
Dana completed her nursing preceptorship in the Neuroscience and Trauma Intensive Care Units at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek. Her advance practice internships concentrated on Urgent Care and Women’s Health, in addition to Family Medicine. With a focus on healthy communities, Dana is also licensed as a public health nurse.
When not taking care of Synergy patients, Dana enjoys time with her husband, two kids, and dog Izzy, a happy nine year old labradoodle. In addition to striving to provide excellent care to her patients in the Bay Area, Dana hopes to continue to travel the world, providing aid to underserved populations on future medical missions.
